No. 16 Keiser women's soccer regular season ended on a sour note, falling 1-0 to No. 17 St. Thomas on the road Saturday night. The Bobcats managed just three shots on goal, but the one that went in made all the difference in the 55th minute.

How it Happened
  • The Seahawks started the game with pressure, taking a few early chances.
  • Emilia Nilsson nearly broke the tie in the eighth minute, but her shot would go just wide.
  • The Bobcats countered with their first chance of the evening, but Zara Board made the easy save to keep the game level.
  • With nine minutes remaining in the half, Olivia Pousette had an opening, but her attempt was saved and the teams went to the break even.
  • St. Thomas finally broke through in the 55th minute when a long ball put Gabrielle Cimino 1-on-1 with the keeper, chipping a shot over the goalie and into the net.
  • In the 68th minute, Oline Sundgot had a shot in front of net, but the high shot was saved.
  • Keiser would get the final chance of the night in the 90th minute, but Pousette's shot would sail just over the bar.

  • Keiser ends the regular season with an 11-5-2 overall record.
  • The Seahawks will be the fourth seed in the upcoming Sun Conference Tournament.
  • KU is now 3-5-1 in ranked matchups this season.
  • In road matchups, Keiser falls to 3-3-1 on the year.
  • The Seahawks had their chances from the corner, drawing six corner kicks on the night to STU's one.
