The No. 7-ranked Keiser football team used 535 yards of total offense including 354 on the ground to hand the Southeastern Fire its worst loss of the season 51-21 on Saturday night. The 354 yards rushing by the Seahawks were the third-most in school history as two Keiser running back rushed for over 100 yards.
Andrew Burnette (148 yards) and
Jaden Meizinger (134 yards) led the way for the Seahawks, who improve to 4-0 in Sun Conference play this season and sit atop the league standings.
The Seahawks scored 48-straight points on the Fire putting the game out of reach early on. Keiser's defense held the Fire to just 60 yards rushing in the game, marking the second straight game in which the Seahawks held their opponents under 100 yards on the ground.
Keiser 14, Southeastern 0
- On Keiser's first possession of the game, the Seahawks drove 64 yards on 10 plays in 5:32 to take an early 7-0 lead.
- Jaden Meizinger scored on a six-yard run with 8:06 left on the game clock for his 11th rushing touchdown of the season.
- The extra point by Luke Creber was good.
- On the following SEU possession, the Seahawks forced a turnover as Louis Lubin III picked off the Fire's Nate Hayden in the endzone (4:10).
- The INT was Lubin's first of the season.
- With the ball, Keiser used five plays to go 80 yards capped off by a 33-yard rushing touchdown by Andrew Burnette.
- A Creber extra point made it 14-0 with 1:41 left in the first.
- Keiser's defense forced another SEU turnover on the next drive as Jaelin Willis recorded his fifth forced fumble of the season, stripping the ball from Josiah Neos.
- Darrell Livingston recovered the fumble at the SEU 33-yard line with 00:56 left in the quarter.
Keiser 27, Southeastern 0
- Creber converted his first field goal of the game with a 48-yard strike to extend Keiser's lead to 17-0, with 14:07 left in the half.
- The kick tied the school record for the longest-made field goal attempt.
- The Seahawks looked to add to their score on their next drive, moving the ball into Southeastern territory.
- However, the SEU defense stopped Keiser, forcing a turnover as Burnette fumbled the ball at the SEU 17-yard line (10:28).
- The defense responded, forcing the Fire to go three-and-out which included a sack by Monte Toney.
- SEU punter Jay Brockhaus booted a short kick out-of-bounds (10 yards) to give the Seahawks the ball at the Fire 25-yard line with 8:34 on the game clock.
- Keiser added another field goal as Creber converted a 26-yard attempt with 6:50 left in the half, 20-0.
- Another three-and-out for the Fire and another bad punt by Brockhaus put the ball in Keiser's hands with good field position (50-yard line).
- The Seahawks could not take advantage of the good field position and were forced to punt with 2:10 on the game clock.
- Three plays into the Fire's next possession, Wendol Philord picked off a pass by Hayden and took it 37 yards for a touchdown.
- With the made extra point, the Seahawks led, 27-0, with 1:05 on the clock.
Keiser 48, Southeastern 0
- The Seahawks opened the second half with the ball and marched down the field in nine plays (76 yards) to extend their lead.
- Bryce Veasley found tight end Aaron Fudge in the corner of the endzone on a four-yard pass play.
- It marked Fudge's first TD as a Seahawk and with the made Creber extra point, it gave Keiser a 34-0 lead with 10:28 remaining in the third.
- On the Seahawks' next possession, Burnette scampered 78 yards for the score - his second rushing touchdown of the game.
- The touchdown run was the longest in school history and pushed the Keiser lead to 41-0 with 8:46 on the game clock.
- Burnette scored his second touchdown of the quarter and third of the game, rushing for nine yards and the score with 1:19 left in the third.
- The touchdown and the made extra point gave Keiser a 48-point lead.
Keiser 51, Southeastern 21
- Southeastern got on the board with a 10-yard touchdown pass from Henry Austad to Devonte Bowie (14:24).
- Austad threw his second touchdown pass with a 19-yard strike to Seriah Abram, 48-14, with 10:24 left in the game.
- The Seahawks reached the 50-point mark for the second straight game after kicker Nico Cavanillas made a 25-yard field goal with 4:07 remaining in the game.
- The Fire scored on their third straight possession as Hudson Jones completed a 33-yard touchdown pass to Tray Jackson with 00:43 on the game clock.

- The win moves the Seahawks to 48-15 all-time.
- Saturday marked the sixth meeting all-time between the two teams with the Seahawks improving to 4-2 all-time versus the Fire.
- The 51 points scored by the Seahawks were the eighth-most in program history and the most points Keiser has scored versus SEU all-time.
- Keiser rushed for 354 yards on Saturday, marking the third-highest total in program history.
- With the win, Keiser remains perfect in Sun Conference play all-time (10-0).
- The Keiser defense held SEU to just 60 yards rushing on Saturday. It was the second straight game KU has held its opponent under 100 yards rushing in a game.
- With the win, the Seahawks move to 30-3 all-time in conference play (SUN & MSC).
- The win also improves Keiser to 25-3 all-time at home.
- Keiser is 33-8 all-time versus unranked opponents.

- Andrew Burnette recorded the longest touchdown run in program history with a 78-yard run in the third quarter.

- Wendol Philord's 37-yard interception return for a touchdown was Keiser's fourth non-offensive score of the season and 21st in program history.
