Brandon Farmer led Keiser men's basketball to another strong win at home on Thursday over Great Lakes Christian, 91-71.
With Keiser leading 58-56,
Milton Burnett drained a three-pointer that sparked a 15-5 Keiser run that put the game out of reach.
Keiser 47, GLCC 41
- Both teams were off to hot starts early with an even 8-8 scoreline after the first three minutes of action.
- Keiser jumped ahead on the next possession with Shaquille Harris starting an 8-4 run to put the Seahawks ahead 16-12 at the 12:26 mark.
- The Crusaders responded with back-to-back three-point shots to take back the lead just one minute later before Brandon Farmer tied the game at 18-18.
- KU used the momentum to spark a 10-0 run capped by a Brandon Younger jumper.
- The back and forth action would continue as Great Lakes Christian scored seven of the next nine points to make it a 28-25 game with 8:12 on the clock.
- Both sides would continue to create opportunities with the Crusaders and Seahawks trading the lead to the 2:33 mark had GLCC up 39-38.
- Back-to-back-to-back three-pointers from Farmer ended the half for Keiser and had him with 17 points as the Seahawks went into the break ahead 47-41.

- Core'von Lott got on the board to start the second half before consecutive layups from Kevin Wright Jr. brought the game within four points.
- DaQuan Williams followed with five of the next seven KU points pushing the Keiser lead up to 56-48 with just over five minutes gone in the second.
- The Crusaders would have an answer as they went on a 6-2 run to cut the deficit down to just four points.
- Following two free throws from TQ Belcher, Milton Burnett drained a three-pointer that sparked a 15-5 Keiser run to give the Seahawks a 73-61 lead.
- It was all Keiser from there as back-to-back dunks from Justin Tucker capped a 7-4 KU run to further stretch their lead.
- KU controlled the final four minutes of action to take home their second win of 2023, 91-71.
