The Keiser women's basketball team dropped a 54-42 decision to the Coastal Georgia Mariners on Thursday night. The Seahawks had a rough night shooting from the floor, converting just 22.6 percent (12-of-53), including 2-of-17 from 3-point range (11.7 percent).
Having a one-point lead after two quarters of play, the Seahawks shot just 2-of-8 from the field in the third quarter to fall behind, 37-29. The Seahawks pulled within five in the final stanza but shot poorly in the fourth quarter (20.0 percent), resulting in a 12-point loss.

Coastal Georgia 13, Keiser 8

- Ellison-Coons pushed Keiser back in the lead with a layup at the 8:03 mark (24-22).
- That didn't last long as CCGA responded with a 3-pointer by Rhodin to make it 25-24 in favor of the Mariners (7:36).
- Nicole Hofmann hit the second straight three for the Mariners to give CCGA a 28-24 advantage.

- After Forney went 1-of-2 from the line for the Mariners, Schlabach cut the lead to 45-38 with a jumper at the 3:48 mark.

- Jordan pushed CCGA's lead to 47-40 with a layup (1:38).
