Box Score Keiser women's tennis was able to finish some of their matches on a rain-filled day three but were unable to complete the finals of the Nova Shark Invitational. The Seahawks finished the tournament 5-2 in singles play and 4-4 in doubles play against the field of Nova Southeastern(D-II), Lynn(D-II), and Hillsborough CC(NJCAA).

Vanja Vidanovic continued her historically strong run of play at the tournament, finishing 2-0 on the weekend with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Eva Goncharov (NSU). She was set to meet Isabella Perez Flores in the final of Flight B after Perez got the one point that she needed from Saturday to defeat Alicia Gomez 5-7, 6-1, 1-0(3).



Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "The weather just wasn't on our side this weekend. All things considered, I'm happy with the way that the girls competed this weekend against an extremely strong field. Our girls were competing with the No. 2 DII (NSU), the No. 10 DII (Lynn), and the No. 2 NJCAA (HCC) all weekend and advancing to finals in multiple flights. We had a guaranteed flight winner before the rain swept it away so that is a good takeaway as we prepare for a strong regionals field this coming week. Now we have to turn our attention to the ITA Regionals and begin preparing for a long weekend ahead."
