Keiser women's tennis team opened their fall schedule on Friday at the Nova Shark Invitational. The Seahawks finished 3-1 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles not including a walkover win to start the day.
Isabella Perez Flores and
Florencia Araya highlighted the day for Keiser with a doubles win and wins in singles individually. The previously ranked No. 7 doubles team in the NAIA took care of business against Nova Southeastern's Manohar and Solagnier winning 6-3. In singles, Perez Flores won 6-2, 6-4 over Zofia Podbiol(Lynn) while Araya defeated Kayla Solagnier, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0(7).

Head CoachÂ
Daniel Finn said, "Overall, I was happy that we were able to get some good performances both in singles and doubles. Dealing with the weather the last couple of weeks has been a challenge so going into a strong tournament like this one, we weren't sure what we were going to get, but it was a great way to get started. As with any tournament, we will have to do our best to come back out tomorrow and back up what we showed today."
