The Keiser Seahawk's 2022 season ended on Friday with a loss in the NAIA Semifinals to the defending National Champion Ottawa (Kan.) Braves, 26-21. Earlier in the day, KU downed Warner in the quarterfinals, 33-13.

  • The Seahawks scored first with touchdown pass from Jazmin Rhoden to Allyson Goolsby with 7:36 left in the first.
  • Defense was strong for both sides as the first 12 minutes ended, 7-0.

Second Quarter

  • Rhoden found Chloe Griffin with the deep pass resulting in a Seahawks touchdown with 7:19 left in the half.
  • Griffin caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from Rhoden with 21 second left in the half to make it a 20-0 game.

  • Another Rhoden to Griffin strike gave KU a 27-0 lead with 4:08 remaining in the third.
  • Cynthia Homs got Warner on the board with a touchdown grab as the quarter ended.

  • The Seahawks extended their lead with another score with 7:14 left in the game.
  • WU responded with a score of their own to cut the Keiser lead to 33-13 with 2:18 on the game clock.

  • The Braves took a 6-0 lead with 3:46 left in the first with a four-yard touchdown run by Addison Osborn.

  • OU made it a 13-0 game following a three-yard scramble by quarterback Madysen Carrera (8:33).
  • Rhoden found Kennedy Foster for three yards and a touchdown, cutting the Ottawa lead, 13-7, with 2:08 left in the half.

Third Quarter
Ottawa 19, Keiser 14
  • The Seahawks scored with 11:06 on the game clock as Rhoden connected with Adrianna Cavalotti for 57 yards, giving Keiser the lead, 14-13.
  • Carrera completed a 14-yard touchdown pass to Alyssa Linkous as the Braves regained the lead, 19-14, with 5:56 left in the third.

  • The Braves pushed their lead to 26-14 following a 29-yard touchdown pass from Carrera to Jazlyn Camacho (11:13).
  • The Seahawks countered with a quick two-play, 50-yard drive capped off with a 46-yard touchdown catch by Griffin, pulling Keiser to within five with 1:21 left in the game.
