The Keiser flag football team suffered a 19-18 loss to the Thomas Night Hawks on Thursday afternoon. 

The Night Hawks scored the go-ahead touchdown with 21 seconds left in the game to hand the Seahawks their second loss of the season.

Kennedy Foster caught two touchdown passes for her 10th and 11th TD receptions on the season. Despite the loss, Keiser held the Night Hawks to just 90 yards of total offense while the Seahawks amassed 190. 

The loss snapped Keiser's six-game winning streak. 
 

First Quarter
Thomas 13, Keiser 0
  • The Night Hawks opened the game with a two-play, 19-yard drive capped off by an eight-yard touchdown pass from Kiana Acol to Brittney Delva (missed extra point).
  • On the ensuing drive, Janae Scott picked off a Jazmin Rhoden pass and returned it 48 yards for the score. 
  • A successful extra-point attempt made it, 13-0.

Second Quarter

Thomas 13, Keiser 6
  • Sydney Woodman put KU is scoring position with a interception at the TU 27 yard line (2:00).
  • A penalty by the Night Hawks gave KU the ball at the Thomas 17 yard line.
  •  With 2:00 left in the half, Rhoden completed four straight passes as the Seahawks found the endzone.
  • Kennedy Foster grabbed a five-yard pass from Rhoden with no time on the clock for her first TD catch of the day.
  • A missed extra-point attempt cut the Night Hawk lead to seven, heading into halftime.

Third Quarter

  • Kesier had the ball for one drive in the third, eating up 6:10 on the game clock.
  • Neither team scored in the third stanza.

Fourth Quarter

Thomas 19, Keiser 18
  • After forcing a three-and-out to start the fourth quarter, Keiser got the ball with 10:51 on the game clock.
  • On one play, Rhoden connected with Foster for 29 yards and the score.
  • After a missed extra-point try, KU trailed, 13-12.
  • KU's defense got the Seahawks the ball back with 2:13 remaining, holding the Night Hawks to just seven total yards through the first 10 minutes of the quarter.
  • Rhoden connected with Allyson Goolsby for 10 yards down to the Thomas 22 yard line. 
  • A holding penalty on the defense gave KU the ball at the TU 12 with 1:43 on the game clock.
  • After a light delay of 1:44, the teams returned to the field.
  • On the very first play, Rhoden scrambled for 12 yards and the touchdown to give Keiser its first lead of the game.
  • The extra-point attempt was no good, giving the Seahawks an 18-13 lead.
  • Thomas responded with an eight-play, 66-yard touchdown drive to regain the lead, 19-18.
  • On fourth-and goal from the seven, Shelby Hartley found Nakerra Brown for the go-ahead score with 21 seconds left to play. 
  • The Seahawks drove to the TU 20 but time expired, ending the game, 19-18.
