No. 2 Women's Tennis Faces Nova Southeastern on the Road Wednesday

The No. 2 ranked Keiser University women's tennis team will face their second No. 2 ranked DII team on Wednesday when they face Nova Southeastern in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
 
About the Seahawks
  • Keiser comes into Wednesday's match with a record of 13-3 on the year.
  • The Seahawks are 5-1 against Division II schools this season and 3-1 against ranked DII teams.
  • KU will look to eclipse the 100 win mark in overall singles play this season. Currently, including all tournaments, their total sits at 99.

Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "Another really tough test tomorrow. Our schedule has been littered with some of the best teams in Division II and tomorrow proves to be another challenge. Nova Southeastern is the No. 2 team in DII for a reason and we're going to have to be prepared for a battle."

Scouting the Sharks: Another strong Sunshine State Conference opponent, Nova Southeastern comes into the contest with a 15-2 record on the season. The only blemishes on the Sharks' record came to DII No. 7 the University of Indianapolis, 3-4, and DII No. 1 Barry, 3-4. The No. 6 ranked player in Division II, Julie Razafindranaly leads the Sharks on court one with a 9-1 record in that spot. NSU has five ranked players in the latest ITA Rankings, in addition to three ranked doubles teams.
