The Keiser Seahawks advanced to their second consecutive Sun Conference Championship Game, defeating the St. Thomas Bobcats, 32-6, before falling to the Thomas Night Hawks, 7-6, on a last-second score in the for the league crown.

First Quarter
Keiser 7, St. Thomas 6
  • The Seahawks took a 7-0 lead with 3:39 on the clock as Jazmin Rhoden connected with Emma Wagenman for a five-yard touchdown score. The extra-point attempt to Adrianna Cavalotti was good.
  • STU responded on the ensuing possession with a 66-yard strike from Julianne Yulkowski to Destynee Francois. The extra-point attempt was no good, makring it a 7-6 game with 2:59 left in the first.

Second Quarter

  • Keiser added to its lead as Kennedy Foster caught a four-yard touchdown pass from Rhoden with 2:19 remaining in the first half. KU successfully converted the extra-point attempt (Rhoden to Allyson Goolsby) for the eight point lead.

Third Quarter
Keiser 20, St. Thomas 6
  • Rhoden found the endzone again for the Seahawks - this time with her feet.
  • The Tampa native scampered for 10 yards and a touchdown extending the lead to 20-6 (extra-point attempt was no good.) with 6:47 on the game clock.

Fourth Quarter
Keiser 32, St. Thomas 6
  • On third-and-goal from the 33-yard line, Rhoden found Adrianna Cavalotti in the endzone for the Keiser score. The strike game KU at 26-6 lead (extra-point attempt no good) with 11:46 left in the game.
  • On the next STU drive, Cavalotti picked off a Yulkowski pass to get the ball back for the Seahawks (10:59).
  • With 9:29 on the game clock, Keiser sealed the victory as Rhoden completed a 25-yard touchdown pass to Chloe Griffin (extra-point attempt was no good) to make it a 32-6 contest.

  • On fourth an five from the Seahawk 35-yard line, Rhoden connected with Griffin for the 45-yard strike. 
  • Prior to the extra-point attempt, the game was halted for over an hour for a lighting delay.
  • Out of the break, KU's PAT attempts was no good.
  • The Night Hawks drove 66-yards and scored the game-tying touchdown with no time on the clock with a four-yard touchdown pass from Shelby Hartley to Nakerra Brown.
