The No. 2 ranked Keiser University women's tennis team will look to defend their title this week when they travel to Brunswick, Georgia for the Sun Conference Championship.
About the Seahawks
- Keiser finished the regular season with a record of 13-4 on the year.
- Six of the ladies earned All-Conference honors with Vanja Vidanovic taking Freshman of the Year honors and the duo of Isabella Perez Flores and Kanon Sorakubo garnering Doubles Team of the Year.
- The Seahawks defeated each of their Sun Conference opponents in the regular season by a combined score of 39-3.
- KU will face No. 12 Southeastern in the opening round of the tournament on Thursday, April 28 at 10:00 a.m.
- If the Seahawks were to advance, they would play the winner of No. 7 SCAD vs No. 19 St. Thomas on Friday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m.

Series Record: KU has five SUN Tournament Championships with an overall record of 18-13.

Scouting the Field: Keiser will open play against No. 12 Southeastern on Thursday. Earlier this season, the Seahawks defeated No. 19 Southeastern 7-0 on February 19, in Lakeland, Florida. The Fire will seek a second chance at the Seahawks as they are coming off a two-game skid to No. 15 Xavier and No. 7 SCAD. Regardless of who advances on the other side of the bracket, Keiser has a 6-1 win over each team earlier in the regular season. Both teams are ranked in the top-20 with SCAD winning the previous match narrowly, 4-3 in Miami Gardens.
