The Keiser Seahawks closed out the 2022 regular season with a 20-0 shutout victory at St. Thomas in Sun Conference action on Saturday. Jazmin Rhoden passed for two touchdowns and rushed for another as KU posted its fifth straight shutout of the Bobcats. 

The Seahawks out-gained the Bobcats, 225-180, to finish the 2022 regular season with an 8-2 league record, earning the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Sun Conference Women's Flag Football Championship. 
 

First Quarter

  • Neither team was able to break the scoreless tie after 12:00 of action.

Second Quarter

Keiser 13, St. Thomas 0
  • Keiser scored the game's first points following a three-yard rushing touchdown by Jazmin Rhoden
  • Following a successful extra points attempt (Rhoden completes to Allyson Goolsby), Keiser led, 7-0.
  • The Seahawks extended their lead with a three-yard touchdown pass from Rhoden to Adriana Rodriguez (extra-point attempt was no good).

Third Quarter

  • Rhoden recorded her second touchdown pass of the game, completing a pass to Adrianna Cavalotti for 14 yards. 
  • The extra-point attempt pass to Cavalotti was good to make it a 20-point game.

Fourth Quarter

  • Holding the Bobcats scoreless in the fourth, the game ended at the two-minute warning (flag football mercy rule).
