The No. 2 Keiser women's tennis team dropped just their second match of the season when they fell to the division one Temple Owls, 5-2.
- After Companion was forced to retire due to injury, Coopersmith responded with a 6-0, 6-3 win on court one.
- The Owls stretched their lead to 3-1 on court five with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Perez Flores.
- Nouws kept the match alive for Keiser on court six with a 6-3, 6-1 win.
- The Owls would take the match on court three 6-2, 6-1 over Vidanovic.
- Sorakubo would fall on court two 6-4, 6-4 to end the match with Temple prevailing 5-2.

"We have some more work to do," said Head Coach,
Daniel Finn, "Temple is a strong program, but our girls have more in them than they showed today. We have another good test coming up on Tuesday and we will have to start getting ready for that right away."

The Seahawks will have a top-3 matchup on their hands Tuesday when No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan travels to South Florida.
