No. 2 Women's Tennis Heads to Savannah for Match with Bees

The No. 2 ranked Keiser University women's tennis team will wrap up conference play on Saturday in Savannah, Georgia when they face the No. 7 SCAD Bees.
 
About the Seahawks
  • The 12-2 Seahawks are coming off a 5-2 win over the Tampa Spartans on Tuesday, March 22.
  • KU will have a chance to clinch the Sun Conference Regular Season Championship with a win.
  • Keiser holds a 5-0 record in conference play this season but will be playing Bees who are 3-1 in the conference and looking to stay alive in the regular-season race.

Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "Tomorrow will be a tough one. Anytime we travel up to Savannah, we know that we are going to be in for a battle. It's not an easy team to play and it's not an easy place to play. Looking forward to a big test and a big opportunity for our girls tomorrow."

Scouting the Wildcats: No. 7 SCAD enters the Saturday matchup with an 8-2 record on the season, 3-1 in the conference. The Bees are riding a two-game winning streak after shutout victories against No. 25 Marian and USC Sumter. SCAD are led on the courts by No. 11 Priya Sukkanha with a 6-2 record on court one this season. Additionally, impressive 7-0, Yue Yu, will likely be on court two for the Bees.
