The Keiser Seahawks shut out the St. Thomas Bobcats, 19-0, as the flag football team won its fifth straight game.
The Seahawks held the Bobcats to 85 total yards (3.3 yards per play) as KU improved to 5-0 all-time versus the team from Miami Gardens. It also marked fourth consecutive shutout for the Seahawks over the Bobcats. Keiser has now out-scored St. Thomas, 134-6.
Keiser was led defensively by
Sydney Woodman, who registered six flag pulls and three pass breakups - one in the endzone to force a turnover-on-downs.
Offensively,
Adrianna Cavalotti grabbed three pass for 62 yards, including two touchdown.
Emma Wagenman tallied a game-high 10 catches for 91 yards and one touchdown.

- With the Seahawks offense taking the field first, KU drove 66 yards on eight plays in 4:46 to take a 6-0 lead.
- Jazmin Rhoden connected with Emma Wagenman for a one-yard touchdown pass.
- The extra-point attempt was no good.

- The Seahawks took a two-score lead as Rhoden found Adrianna Cavalotti for a 13-yard touchdown with 6:27 left in the half.
- Rhoden found Allyson Goolsby for the extra point.
- Keiser looked to extend their lead late in the second quarter.
- However, a Rhoden pass attempt in the endzone on fourth-and-goal was picked off by STU's Tashumba Washington.

- Neither team was able to add to the scoreboard during the third stanza.
Keiser 19, St. Thomas 0
- St. Thomas continued a drive which started in the third quarter, brining the ball down to the KU five-yard line.
- On fourth-and-goal from the five, Sydney Woodman broke up a Hally Neher pass attempt in the endzone to give the ball back to the Seahawks.
- The Seahawks used that stop to orchestrate a four-play, 75-yard, touchdown drive that covered 3:27.
- Rhoden connected with Cavalotti for her second touchdown reception good for 44 yards.
Keiser will travel to Miami Gardens, Florida, to take on the Florida Memorial Lions on March 31.
