Pam Oswald recorded her 100th victory as the head coach of the Keiser Seahawks as the women's basketball team defeated the Warner Royals, 53-46, on Saturday.  Freshman Taylor Jones posted a career-high 16 rebounds while senior Kaitlyn Fertig notched the 1,000th point of her collegiate career in the team's 17th win of the season.

Trailing 38-37 with 6:06 left in the game, freshman guard Elliana Schaefer hit back-to-back triples to give Keiser a five-point lead.

First Quarter
Keiser 11, Warner 4
  • The Seahawks opened the game with 7-0 run.
  • Chanelle McDonald got the Royals on the board with a layup at the 4:46 mark.
  • Angela Denis made it a 9-2 game with a bucket in the paint with 3:43 left in the first.
  • Julia Fitzwater hit a baseline jumper to give KU an 11-2 advantage with 1:36 on the clock.
  • WU's Megan Peterson scored the final basket of the quarter, making it an 11-4 game with 23 second on the game clock. 

Second Quarter
Keiser 22, Warner 16
  • The Seahawks made it a seven-point game, 14-7, with a layup by Shykim Gillion with 6:20 left in the half.
  • Warner's McDonald cut it to five with 6:10 remaining, 14-9.
  •  Gillion gave the Seahawks a nine-point edge, 20-11, with a made jumper at the 3:17 mark.
  • The teams traded buckets with Warner scoring the last one - a jumper by Audre'Anna Judie as time expired, 22-16.

Third Quarter
Keiser 37, Warner 32
  • A 9-0 run by the Seahawks made it a 33-18 game with 6:18 on the game clock.
  • The Royals used an 8-0 run to cut into Keiser's lead 33-26 with 2:51 left in the third.
  • Gillion converted a layup with 2:34 on the clock to make it a 35-26 game.
  • WU went on a 6-0 run to pull within three, 35-32, with 26 second on the clock.
  • Andressa Nascimento hit a jumper to close out the quarter, 37-32.

Fourth Quarter
Keiser 53, Warner 46 
  • Warner used 5-0 run to tie the game at 37-37 (8:42).
  • The Royals took their first lead since the first quarter after Jasmine Edwards hit the front end of two free-throws, 38-37, with 6:06 left in the game.
  • Elliana Schaefer hit back-to-back triple to give KU a 43-38 lead with 4:26 on the game clock.
  • A layup by McDonald cut the Keiser lead to 44-40 with 3:42 remaining.
  • A layup by Kaitlyn Fertig extended the Keiser lead to six, 46-40, with 2:04 left in the game.
  • After two made free throws by Warner, Gillion responded with a made jumper with just under 1:30 left to play (48-42).
  • Warner cut the deficit to five, 49-44, with a layup by McDonald.
  • Fertig, who was fouled with 44 second left, went to the line, making both free throws, 51-44. Her first made free throw was the 1,000th point of her collegiate career.

  • The win marked the 100th for Pam Oswald as the Seahawks head coach.
  • With the win, Keiser clinches a spot in this year's Sun Conference Women's Basketball Championship.
  • With the win , Keiser improves to 24-9 all-time against versus the Royals.
  • With the win, Keiser improves to 14-2 all-time versus the Royals in West Palm Beach, Florida.
  • KU has won eight of the last nine and 10 of the last 12 meetings with the Royals.
  • Kaitlyn Fertig scored the 1,000th for her college career on Saturday. The native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, finished the night with six points, moving her total to 1,002 for her collegiate career (758 at Chatham University - NCAA DIII; 244 at Keiser - NAIA).
