Keiser men's basketball led for a majority of Saturday night's contest but fell late to the Life Running Eagles, 82-75.
Justin Tucker notched another strong night down low with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and two blocks in the game.
With just over three minutes left in the game, the Running Eagles used a 12-0 run to take a 77-71 lead with 1:16 left to play.
Keiser 40, Life(Ga.) 30
- Keiser jumped out to a 16-9 lead early in the game with Core'von Lott and Brandon Younger contributing five points each.
- The Running Eagles bounced back with a 6-0 to keep the game close but the Seahawks would maintain a one to three-point lead until the 8:08 mark.
- Life scored five points in a row to tie the game at 25-25 at that point before Keiser responded with a run of their own.
- Two-point baskets by Lott and Joe Stubbs began the run before Tucker finished with four points of his own to give Keiser their largest lead and run at 36-25 with 3:12 left in the first half.
- The two sides would trade baskets going into the half with Christian Miller-Cardwell tallying the final bucket of the first half that gave KU a 40-30 advantage heading into the break.
- Going into the half, Keiser controlled the boards 20-14 and was winning the turnover battle with just eight to the Running Eagles' 13.

- Life would come out of the break with energy, putting together a 13-6 run to cut the Keiser lead to just three with 15:11 to play in the second.
- The Seahawks would still have answers as Younger drained a three-pointer before Miller-Cardwell followed with points of his own to bring the lead back up to nine, 52-43.
- Keiser would keep Life at that distance until the 10:54 mark when the Running Eagles began chipping away at the lead.
- An 8-2 run brought the Keiser lead down to 63-59 before a Tucker layup ended a 4:40 run of the Seahawks not scoring a basket.
- The shooting struggles continued for KU as the Running Eagles added a 6-1 run to make it a 66-65 game with 5:05 left to play.
- Back-to-back baskets by Tucker and Younger put Keiser back in control stretching their lead to six points with 3:34 showing.
- It would be the last lead that the Seahawks would have as the Running Eagles exploded for a 17-4 run to end the game, making 50% of their field goal attempts and 9-of-10 free throws.
- A last second basket by Tucker would simply make a dent in the final score of the game, 82-75.
