Core'von Lott was just not enough as the Seahawks fell to No. 21 Florida College at home on Tuesday night, 85-81.

A three-pointer by Florida College's Matt Simpson with 54 seconds left put the Falcons up 78-74.
Florida College 41, Keiser 38
- The two sides were even from the start with Florida College taking a slight 12-11 lead at the 15:25 mark.
- After two free throws from Matt Simpson, Keiser retaliated with an 11-3 run to take a 21-16 lead with 12:23 on the clock.
- The Falcons took control of the next five minutes, as five players scored five baskets to open a 12-4 run and take the 28-25 lead.
- Christian Miller-Cardwell stopped the run with a jumper before Florida College piled on with six more points.
- The two teams would make the next five shots with Shaquille Harris finishing the 7-5 KU run with a three-pointer from range with just over three minutes to play.
- Keiser would take a slight momentum advantage to finish the half as DaQuan Williams would get two free throws with just over 30 seconds to play and Florida College leading 41-38.

- Lott would need just 21 seconds to tie the game at 41-41 with his 13th point of the night.
- Both sides would go into a bit of a drought before trading baskets with just over 16 minutes to play and the score at 46-45 in favor of the Falcons.
- After another three-minute stretch without a score, Keiser began to stretch out a lead over Florida College with a 10-2 run and Justin Tucker scoring seven on his own.
- A Falcons three-pointer cut the lead down to 55-51 with 10:13 to play before two more from Brandon Younger at the line kept the Seahawks in front.
- The momentum from there began to change as after holding Matt Simpson to just seven points in the first half, the top scorer for the falcons scored the next 13 points on a 13-4 run of his own to take back the lead, 64-61, with just under seven minutes to play.
- Lott would be called on to match the effort as he scored four of the next five points for Keiser with his 2,000th career point tying the game at 66-66.
- Both sides would have their chances and match tempos as Tucker's free throw tied the game again at 71-71 with 2:41 showing.
- Younger followed a Falcons make with back-to-back offensive rebounds before tying the game at 73 with his put-back layup.
- However, it was Matt Simpson again for the Falcons who sank a three-pointer to put Florida College up 78-74 with 54 seconds to keep the game just out of reach.
- Lott would come down and sink a jumper to cut the lead in half before the Seahawks called timeout.
- An odd set of sequences down the stretch as both sides took full advantage of back-to-back three-point range shooting fouls with both sides hitting each chance to make it 81-79 FC with 32 seconds left.
- Keiser would get one last chance down by two but Lott's three-pointer would miss off the back end of the rim and the Falcons would grab the rebound.
- Florida College knocked down the final two free throws of the game and secured the 85-81 win.

- It was just the second win of the all-time series for the Falcons as Keiser still leads 7-2 all time.
- The magic number stayed true at 80 as Florida College was first to hit the mark and eventually won the game.
- Core'von Lott scored his 2,000th career point in the game.
- The Seahawks dropped their first ranked matchup of the year, falling to 52-49 all-time in those games.
- The game was close the entire way with neither side able to stretch more than an eight-point lead at any moment.
- KU did a good job of winning the turnover battle as the Seahawks forced 14 turnovers while committing just 10.
- Lott finished just three short of his career-high with 30 points on the night to lead the way for the Seahawks.
- The senior also added a season-high seven assists on the night.
- Keiser managed to control the boards for most of the night, taking a 40-34 win overall.
- Justin Tucker notched the first double-double of the season for the Seahawks with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
