The Keiser women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season, falling to the (rv) St. Thomas, 82-53, on Thursday night. The game was the first for the Seahawks after a 12-day layoff (due to Hurricane Nicole).
The Bobcats outscored the Seahawks in the first quarter, 24-7, as Keiser shot just .231 percent form the floor (3-of-13) in the first 10 minutes of action.

- The Bobcats opened the game with a 9-0 run over the first three minutes of the quarter.
- Elise Ellison-Coons scored the first bucket of the game for the Seahawks with a made jumper at the 6:41 mark.

- Schaefer hit another jumper to cut it to a 36-23 game with 3:30 on the clock.
- A 5-2 run by the Seahawks cut the STU lead to 10 (38-28) heading into halftime.

- Shykim Gillion scored three points on an "and-1" to cut the Bobcat's lead to single-digits, 38-31 with 9:29 on the clock.
- STU pushed its lead back to double-digits following a layup by Kasey Gagan off a Keiser turnover (8:27).
- A jumper by Gillion at the 7:05 mark made it a seven-point game, 42-35.
- Schlabach went to the line and converted both attempts to pull within five, 42-37, with 6:10 left in the third.
- An 11-2 run by the Bobcats extended the St. Thomas lead to 53-39 (3:53).
- STU outscored KU, 12-5 in the fin four minutes of the quarter to take a 21-point lead into the final frame.
