No. 1 women's soccer claimed their second straight Sun Conference Regular Season Title on Monday in front of their home crowd in West Palm Beach, Florida. Maja Lundman scored the opener before Lauren Riley slotted her 11th of the season to give the Seahawks some insurance.

How it Happened
  • SCAD would have the first chance of the match on a corner in the third minute but it would sail over the heads of all of the players on the field.
  • In the 17th minute, the Seahawks had a great chance in front of net but the shot by Ayaka Matsumaru would be saved by the SCAD keeper, Zoe Goodale.
  • Nearly four minutes later, Kyoka Koshijima had a chance in front of the net but it was Goodale again making a diving save to keep the game scoreless.
  • With eight minutes left in the half, Georgia Little crossed a ball in that found the foot of Maja Lundman who would beat the SCAD keeper and put KU on the board.
  • Less than two minutes later, Oline Sundgot's header bounced off the crossbar before she was able to tap it back to Lauren Riley who blasted it into the net to give Keiser the 2-0 lead.
  • KU would head to the half with an 8-3 shot advantage, 5-1 on goal.
  • The Seahawks would come out firing in the second half, earning three corners in the first 10 minutes of action.
  • SCAD would have their best chance of the day in the 60th minute but Grace McClellan was up to the task parrying the shot away from danger.
  • Keiser would continue to create chance after chance in front of net but couldn't quite finish the chance to get their third.
  • The Bees were able to put together another attack in the 78th minute but McClellan would make the save with little trouble.
  • The clock would strike zero and the Seahawks would earn their 12th shutout of the season.
