Kaitlyn Fertig poured in a Seahawk career-high 29 points and the Keiser women's basketball team came from behind to defeat Coastal Georgia, 66-63, Thursday evening in a Sun Conference battle.

Keiser netted 14 of the first 20 points of the third quarter to take their first lead, 48-47, since the 9:37 mark of the first quarter.
Keiser 17, Coastal Georgia 25
- Following a Fertig layup to open the contest, Coastal Georgia responded with an 11-0 run to jump in front with 7:33 left in the quarter.
- Fertig stopped the run with her first three-pointer of the contest at the 7:14 mark, sparking a quick 5-0 KU surge to draw within four, 11-7.
- The Mariners stretched their lead to double figures, 22-11, with 3:08 remaining in the quarter, courtesy of an 11-4 stretch.
- The Seahawks netted six of the final nine points of the quarter to trim the deficit to eight, 25-17.
Keiser 34, Coastal Georgia 41
- Keiser scored 10 of the first 14 points of the frame to draw within two, 29-27, following a triple from Chiara De Virgilio at the 6:15 mark.
- The Mariners answered with a 7-0 stretch to build their lead back to nine, 36-27, with 3:33 showing on the clock.
- Shykim Gillion put an end to the CCG run with a layup and sparked a 7-3 stretch for KU that ended with a Fertig three that cut the CCG lead to five, 39-34, with 1:12 left in the half.
- Coastal Georgia closed the half with a pair of free throws to take a 41-34 advantage into the second.
Keiser 51, Coastal Georgia 50
- Keiser tied the game, 43-43, at the 3:50 mark following a 9-2 run to open the quarter.
- Five different Seahawks scored during the stretch, which was jumpstarted by an Andressa Nascimento jumper to open the quarter.
- Fertig gave Keiser their first lead since the 9:37 mark of the first quarter, 48-47, following a triple with 1:55 showing on the clock.
- An Ajmanni Jefferson free throw quickly leveled the score, 48-48, before another Fertig three-pointer gave KU their largest lead at the time, 51-48.
- Kaliyah Little drained a jumper to cut the KU lead to one, 51-50, as the two sides headed to the fourth.
Keiser 66, Coastal Georgia 63
- Coastal Georgia regained the lead, 52-51, following a pair of Jefferson free throws to open the fourth.
- The two sides traded leads over the next 6:13 before a pair of makes at the line by Angela Denis put the Seahawks in front, 63-61, for good.
- The senior followed the makes at the line with a layup to give KU their largest lead of the contest, 65-61, as 1:23 showed on the clock.
- Following a missed Coastal Georgia three on the next possession, SaQuira Porter trimmed the lead to two, 65-63, with a putback layup.
- On the ensuing KU possession, freshman Elliana Schaefer drew the CCG foul and split at the line to extend the Seahawk lead, 66-63, with :12 ticks on the clock.
- Coastal Georgia fired a three-pointer from the top of the key at the buzzer but it was too strong as KU went on to win, 66-63.

- The victory improved the Seahawks to 14-7 (5-4 SUN) on the year.
- With the win, KU is now 7-6 all-time in the series history against the Mariners.
- The Seahawks have now won five straight over Coastal Georgia.
