The No. 4 Keiser football team fell to No. 1 Lindsey Wilson, 34-2, Saturday afternoon in a rematch of last season's NAIA Football Championship Series Semifinal at Parnell Family Stadium in Columbia, Ky.

Marques Burgess became the first player in program history to rush for 2,000 career yards after the junior finished with 88 on the afternoon.
Keiser 0, Lindsey Wilson 13
- The defense took the field first after Keiser won the toss and deferred to the second half.
- The Seahawks came away with the stop, forcing a Lindsey Wilson punt, but a key miscue haunted Keiser.
- Sage Chen-Young muffed the punt, which was then kicked into the end zone in the scrum for the ball, leading to a Lindsey Wilson recovery for a touchdown. Ian Sauter's extra point attempt was blocked by Camron Allen keeping the score at 6-0 with 12:38 left in the quarter.
- Miscues played a role again on the Seahawks opening drive of the contest as a Jack Strouse underthrow was picked off by Robert Carter at the Lindsey Wilson 11-yard line.
- The Blue Raiders capitalized off the turnover as Cameron Dukes connected with Joshua Lewis for a 24-yard touchdown, pushing the LWC lead to 13-0 at the 7:49 mark.
- Following a Keiser punt, Wendol Philord gave the Seahawks a spark with his second interception of the season as 4:49 remained in the first.
- The Seahawks failed to capitalize though as Strouse was stuffed at the line on a fourth-and-short, leading to a turnover on downs. Â

- The KU special teams unit came up big to open the second quarter as they blocked Sauter's 27-yard field goal attempt, keeping the deficit at 13 with 12:17 left in the half.
- After a three-and-out by the Seahawks, Dukes and the Blue Raiders struck again as the senior hit Joshua Lewis for a 35-yard score. Sauter's extra point made it 20-0 with 5:53 remaining in the half.
- Carlos Silencieux finally got the Seahawks on the board as the junior blocked Sauter's punt, which bounced out the back of the end zone for a safety as 2:06 showed on the clock.
- Keiser failed to capitalize on the momentum as Strouse threw his second interception of the afternoon at the 1:23 mark. The interception was originally returned for a touchdown but a taunting call waived off the score.
- The penalty didn't faze the LWC offense though as Dukes tossed his third touchdown of the day with :03 ticks left on the clock, giving the Blue Raiders a 27-2 lead at the break.

- Defense controlled the pace in the third quarter as neither squad was able to put points on the board as Lindsey Wilson headed to the fourth with a 27-2 lead.
