The second-ranked Seahawks notched their fifth conference win of the season, sweeping No. 25 St. Thomas in Miami Gardens.
With the victory, KU improved its conference winning streak to 29 consecutive matches.


- The Seahawks took a 2-0 lead when Abbate shutout her opponent in the top spot.
- Aik moved Keiser to within one of clinching the match with a 6-2, 6-1 victory in the third position.
- The match was clinched when Lairmore posted a 6-2, 6-3 win over No. 35 Carrera in the second slot.
- The lead grew to 6-0 when Isabella Perez Flores and No. 13 Schaerer blanked their opponents.
- Hussain capped off the afternoon sweep with a 6-2, 6-4 triumph in the fourth slot.

Daniel Finn said, "This was a good performance by the women today. I was happy to see us come out and take care of business from the start. We knew that St. Thomas would be rowdy but we controlled everything from start to finish and didn't let anything bother us."
