The second-ranked Seahawks notched their fifth conference win of the season, sweeping No. 25 St. Thomas in Miami Gardens.  

With the victory, KU improved its conference winning streak to 29 consecutive matches.

• Camilla Abbate and Dugleisy Linarez gave KU the early advantage with a 6-2 win in the second spot.
• The doubles point was clinched in the third position as Hannah Lairmore and Sarah Schaerer won, 6-2.
• Maissane Aik and Alisha Hussain completed the sweep with a 6-4 victory as KU led 1-0, heading into singles.

• The Seahawks took a 2-0 lead when Abbate shutout her opponent in the top spot.
• Aik moved Keiser to within one of clinching the match with a 6-2, 6-1 victory in the third position.
• The match was clinched when Lairmore posted a 6-2, 6-3 win over No. 35 Carrera in the second slot.
• The lead grew to 6-0 when Isabella Perez Flores and No. 13 Schaerer blanked their opponents.
• Hussain capped off the afternoon sweep with a 6-2, 6-4 triumph in the fourth slot.

Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "This was a good performance by the women today. I was happy to see us come out and take care of business from the start. We knew that St. Thomas would be rowdy but we controlled everything from start to finish and didn't let anything bother us."
