Keiser University battled hard against No. 15 Southeastern but fell in the end, 60-46, on Thursday evening in West Palm Beach.
Keiser 12, Southeastern 14
- Keiser forced an early SEU timeout with 7:31 remaining as the Seahawks led 5-2.
- The Fire responded out of the stoppage with four straight points, claiming a 6-5 advantage with 6:44 to go.
- Emily Patton briefly put the Seahawks on top by one, but four consecutive SEU points made it 11-7 in favor of the visitors with 3:13 remaining.
- Antigonie Sanabria made it a one-point game with a three-ball, but the Fire held a 14-12 advantage at the end of the quarter.
Keiser 23, Southeastern 27
- Sanabria opened the quarter with a long ball as Keiser took a one-point lead at the 9:28 mark.
- Four straight points by SEU forced a Keiser timeout as the home team trailed 18-15 with 7:38 left in the first half.
- The Fire bumped the margin to five before the Seahawks went on an 8-0 run, reclaiming a 23-20 lead with 3:08 remaining.
- Southeastern ended the run with a three-pointer and took a timeout as the game was tied with 2:51 to go.
- SEU went on to score the final four points of the half to lead 27-23.
Keiser 36, Southeastern 41
- A pair of Patton free throws made it a two-point game but an 8-2 run the Fire extended their advantage to 35-27 with 6:19 showing.
- Patton connected on a pair of three-pointers, dwindling the deficit to 37-33 with 3:24 remaining in the quarter.
- SEU bagged the next four points but a Sanabria three-pointer with 17.1 seconds made it 41-36 in favor of the Fire.
Keiser 46, Southeastern 60
- SEU opened the final quarter with seven consecutive points, upping their lead to double digits for the first time, 48-36, with 6:12 left.
- Following four straight points by KU, the Fire went on an 8-0 run to lead 56-40 with 2:30 remaining in the contest.
- The Seahawks had no quit, rattling off six straight points and calling a timeout, trailing 56-46, with 55.6 ticks to go.
- Southeastern went on to win the Sun Conference contest, 60-46.

- 2: The Seahawks had two players reach double-digits on the evening led by Patton with 15.
- 3: Patton and Sanabria each connected on three from beyond the arc as the Seahawks finished with seven deep balls.
