- After Taylor (Ind.) jumped out to its largest lead of the game (three points), Claxton pulled KU within one with a made layup at the 17:26 mark of the first.
- Radulovic gave the Seahawks the lead with a bucket with 16:06Â on the clock, 6-5.
- The buckets by Claxton and Radulovic triggered an 11-0 run which pushed the Seahawks' lead to eight, 13-5, with 14:52 remaining in the half.Â
