The Keiser men's basketball team could not overcome a poor shooting night, falling to the Warner Royals in Sun Conference action, 86-58, on Thursday night.

First Half

Warner 43, Keiser 31
  • The Royals jumped out to a 10-3 lead to start the game.
  • A 3-pointer by Shaquille Harris cut the Royals lead to 12-6.
  • Darryl Mercer pushed the WU lead to 10, 16-6.
  • After a Quinton Glaspie layup pulled the Seahawks to within eight, 18-10, a 3-pointer by WU's Mercer pushed the deficit to 21-10.
  • A 6-0 run by KU cut Warner's lead to 21-16 - capped off by a pair of made free throws by Antonio Spencer.
  • A jumper by Warner's Joseph Matz put the lead back to 10, 29-19.
  • Trailing 34-22, Marko Radulovic hit a trey followed by a layup by Core'von Lott which brought Keiser within seven, 34-27.
  • A dunk by Spencer made it a seven-point game, 38-31.
  • Warner closed out the half with a 43-31 lead. 

Second Half

Warner 86, Keiser 58
  • The Seahawks cut Warner's lead to single digits following three makes at the charity stripe, 43-36, to open the second half.
  • The Royals regained their double-digit lead following a jumper by Mercer, 55-45.
  • The Seahawks could not overcome 14-3 run by the Royals which pushed the deficit over 20.
  • Unable to cut into the lead, Keiser fell, 86-58.

  • With the loss, Keiser drops to 3-5 on the year (2-3 SUN).
  • With the loss, the Seahawks are now 23-12 all-time versus the Royals.
