The Keiser women's basketball team fell to the No. 12-ranked Indiana Tech Warriors, 67-46, on Saturday afternoon in the team's first game of the West Palm Beach Invitational.




A layup by the Warrior's Emma Tuominen with 6:36 in the first quarter to cap off a 9-0 run for Indiana Tech to start the game.

Indiana Tech 20, Keiser 9

• The Warriors opened up the game on a 9-0 run. 
• Shykim Gillion got the Seahawks on the board with a pair of made free throws, 9-2 (6:24).
• KU cut the Warrior's lead to six, 13-7 after Angela Denis converted 1-of-2 from the free-throw line (2:31).
• Indiana Tech closed out the quarter with a 7-2 run to take a 20-9 lead.

Indiana Tech 33, Keiser 21

• Kaitlyn Fertig brought the Seahawks to within nine with a layup to open the second, 20-11 (9:31).
• A 13-2 run by the Warriors extended the deficit, 33-13, with 4:10 left in the half.
• The Seahawks used an 8-0 run to end the first half and enter halftime down, 33-21.

Indiana Tech 53, Keiser 36

• The Warriors out-scored the Seahawks 20-15 in the third to extend their lead 17.
• Elise Ellison-Coons led Keiser with eight points in the quarter.

Indiana Tech 67, Keiser 46

• Indiana Tech kept a margin of over 18 points the entire quarter. 
• The Warriors held a 14-10 edge in scoring in the fourth to come away with the 67-46 victory.
