In a game that saw 14 lead changes and 14 ties, it was a stretch of 2:43 in fourth that determined the outcome as the Keiser women's basketball team (6-2, 2-2 SUN) suffered a 73-66 loss at Florida Memorial (3-3, 3-0 SUN) on Saturday.
With 2:43 left in the game, FMU went on a 14-0 run to close out the game and hand the Seahawks the 73-66 loss.
Keiser 19, Florida Memorial 11
- FMU jumped out to a 6-0 lead before a jumper by Kaitlyn Fertig got KU on the board with 7:10 left in the quarter.
- The Seahawks tied the game, 6-6, following a Taylor Jones bucket at the 5:39 mark.
- KU made it a 10-0 run with a layup by Elise Ellison-Coons (4:11) and took a 10-6 lead.

- A layup by Angela Denis tied the game at 35-35 (7:37) off an assist by De Virgilio.
- The score went back-and-forth over the next minute and a-half.
- FMU extended its lead to four (43-39) following a fastbreak layup by Tolbert (4:46).
- The Seahawks took back the lead as Shykim Gillion drained two attempts at the charity stripe, 47-45, with 2:30 left on the clock.
- The Lions out-scored the Seahawks, 6-2, in the final 2:30 of the third to take a 51-49 lead.
