No. 2 women's soccer secured their spot in the NAIA National Championship, presented by Select Sport America. Keiser took the lead early and never looked back, earning their 11th shutout of the season and punching a ticket to the final site of the NAIA National Championship.


.How it Happened
  • The scoring started in the seventh minute when Ramona Kannady chipped a Linnea Axengren cross passed the keeper to give KU the 1-0 lead.
  • Maxi Krug doubled the advantaged in the 24th minute with a missile from 35 yards out to put Keiser up by two.
  • The Seahawks defense held strong through the half, allowing just one shot in the first 45 minutes of play.
  • Second half action was full of chances but nothing could get by the two goalkeepers in net.
  • Grace McClellan made all five of her saves in the second half, while Sabrina Graziano of CU made three diving saves to deny Keiser.
  • Time ran out with the Seahawks defense earning their 11th shutout of the year.

  • Keiser improved to 16-2 on the year and 14-2 in the postseason opening round.
  • Kannady secured her team-best 12th goal of the season early in the first half.
  • Linnea Axengren dished out two assists on the afternoon to bring her season total to six.
  • McClellan earned her ninth shutout of the season, making five saves on the afternoon.
  • Kyoka Koshijima picked up her 10th assist on the season which continues to lead the team.
  • KU ended the contest with the 17-12 shot advantage.
