Keiser women's soccer fell in the 2021 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Quarterfinals, presented by Select Sport on Thursday afternoon. 

.How it Happened
  • Central Methodist got the scoring started in the second minute with a headed ball that barely crossed over the line.
  • The Eagles doubled their advantage in the 22nd with a well worked build-up resulting in Andrea Villar score to put CMU up 2-0.
  • At the end of the first half, Keiser trailed 2-0 and 10-1 in the shot category.
  • The second half was much more quiet for both sides with the two teams totaling just four shots on target.
  • With neither team able to put a ball into the net, the game finished 2-0 in favor of the Eagles.

Game Notes
  • This was the first meeting in women's soccer between Central Methodist and Keiser.
  • KU suffers their first defeat in NAIA Quarterfinals play(5-1-0) and drops to 27-12-2 in postseason. 
  • The Seahawks put together six shots with three on target.
  • Grace McClellan made four saves in the game.
  • CMU outshot KU 14-6 in the match (6-3 on goal).
