The Keiser Seahawks used a second-half surge, outscoring the Bobcats, 49-27, to come away with a 77-61 win over St. Thomas on Thursday night. Five Seahawks scored in double-figures on Thursday, including
Kaitlyn Fertig, who led KU with 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting.
Four straight successful trips to the charity stripe by
Shykim Gillion in the third gave the Seahawks their first lead of the game, 47-45, sparking an 8-2 run to close out the frame.
St. Thomas 19, Keiser 9
