Women's Tennis Wins Three Flights at Shark Bite Invite

Box Score Keiser women's tennis team completed the final day at the NSU Shark Bite Invite on Sunday, taking home three flight wins. The Seahawks went 4-2 in singles and 1-1 in doubles.

The highlights of the day were Nicole Coopersmith taking home the Flight A win over Maeva Roquebert of Tampa 6-3, 6-2, and Vanja Vidanovic taking down Eva Goncharov of Nova Southeastern 6-3, 6-3 in the Flight B final. The pair also took the Flight A doubles win via walkover.

Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "Overall, I'm happy with the day. This is a very young group of ladies that is learning their identities as college players and we are starting to see improvement. The more matches we play, the better we look. Even from last week to now, there has been a lot of growth. I thought we did a good job this tournament of exhibiting patience in our points and I believe it showed in some of the results. Happy to see Niki and Vanja take their flights in singles and doubles and continue a strong fall. We have a little time to recoup and start working and looking ahead to Barry in a couple of weeks."
