Head Coach
Daniel Finn said, "Rough day. Some of the girls competed well and had opportunities, but it's safe to say all of them had a good learning experience today. For almost every single girl that played today, this was the first time they've played a college dual match. That made playing this match in the fall, all the more important. We are very young and still have a lot to learn and improve on. Honestly, I thought we had chances to get the doubles point, which would have made things a lot more interesting with some other competitive matches, but we couldn't lock in during the big moments. We have to get better mentally and be able to adapt playing style when things are not in our favor. Again though, for a young team, we will use today as a situation to learn and get back to work to be ready for a very tough tournament next weekend."

The Seahawks will travel to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. for the Nova Invitational on October 29-30 at the NSU Tennis Center.
