The Keiser women's tennis team finished day two at the ITA Cup in Rome, Ga. on Friday. The Seahawks went 1-1 on the day in singles and fought to a big win in doubles play.
The highlight of the day belonged to
Nicole Coopersmith who proved a force to be reckoned with in both singles and doubles. She cruised through the previously ranked No. 16 Iryna Lysykh (GGU) in singles, 6-2, 6-2, before taking the court with
Vanja Vidanovic in doubles and defeating Thais Mendez and Melanie Dveksler (Ind. Wes.) in straight sets, (7-5, 6-1).

Daniel Finn said, "Solid showing by Niki today in singles as well as following up in doubles with Vanja. Happy to get the wins today, but just like yesterday, we need to rest up and get ready for more big matches tomorrow."
