No. 2 Keiser women's soccer weathered the South Carolina storms over the weekend, taking down USCB, 6-4.
Ramona Kannady continued her impressive freshman campaign with two goals and an assist on the day.

- In the 23rd minute, Grace McClellan launched a ball downfield to put Ramona Kannady 1-on-1 with the keeper, where Kannady placed it into the lower-left corner to give Keiser the 1-0 lead.
- Less than two minutes later, Fanni Pietikainen served a corner kick to the front post where it bounced off a couple of USCB defenders before rolling over the line for the 2-0, KU lead.
- USCB quickly responded with a goal of their own to cut the Seahawks lead to 2-1 where it remained for the rest of the half.
- Kyoka Koshijima took a pass from Maja Lundman before putting a move on a defender and shooting it into the left side of the net, giving Keiser the 3-1 advantage in the 51st minute.
- Following a Wilma Lundstroem throw-in, Kannady found Lundman at the top of the box who rocketed a shot into the top of the netting to make the score 4-1 in favor of KU with 30 minutes left to play.
- Five minutes later, the Sand Sharks cut the deficit in half courtesy of a chip shot from Madison Foshee.
- Just three minutes after that, Lundstroem picked up a loose ball and found Kannady who ripped her second goal into the upper left corner for the 5-2 Seahawks lead.
- USCB would not go down easily and found the back of the net off a corner kick set-piece which resulted in a Lauren Wood header to make the score 5-3 in the 79th minute.
- Koshijima secured her second goal of the afternoon in the 85th minute off a cross from Maja Henriksson.
- The Sand Sharks would score the final goal of the match in the 86th minute with Keiser taking home a 6-4 win.
- Keiser stays undefeated against USCB, increasing their record in the series to 12-0-0, 5-0-0 on the road.
- Kannady's two goals put her in the lead for most points (16) and goals (6) on the team.
- Koshijima scored her third and fourth goals of the year to move into a four-way tie for second place on the team.
- McClellan earned her second career assist in the game and ninth win of the season.
- The goal by USCB was the first allowed by the Seahawks in 398 minutes.
- Keiser's winning streak improved to six in a row on Sunday.
- The Seahawks held USCB to just two corners, five below their season average.
- KU out shot USCB by a margin of 23 in the game (35-12).
