Antigonie Sanabria became the second player under head coach Pam Oswald to score her 1,000th career point as the senior finished with 13 points in a 67-58 win against Coastal Georgia on Saturday afternoon.




Keiser 22, Coastal Georgia 14

• Both teams were even on the scoreboard at six, through the opening 3:37 before the Seahawks reeled off eight straight points to take a 14-6 lead at the 4:50 media timeout.
• Andressa Nascimento gave the Seahawks their largest lead of the quarter, 17-6, with a split at the line as 3:35 remained in the period.
• Keiser went on to hold a 22-14 advantage at the end of the opening quarter.

Keiser 36, Coastal Georgia 24

• Emily Patton scored six straight points to open the quarter as the Seahawks used a 10-0 run to take their largest lead of the half, 32-14, with 6:37 remaining.
• Chiara De Virgilio capped off the run with four straight makes from the charity stripe.
• Coastal Georgia answered with a 12-4 run to close out the half as Keiser held a 36-24 advantage at the intermission.

Keiser 46, Coastal Georgia 43

• The Mariners opened the second half on a 6-2 run to draw within eight, 38-30 at the 8:29 mark.
• A Keondra Smith and-one capped off a 5-0 surge for the Seahawks, extending the lead back to double figures, 43-30, as 4:50 remained in the quarter. 
• Coastal Georgia closed period on a 13-3 run to trail 46-43 with one quarter left in regulation.

Keiser 67, Coastal Georgia 58

• The Mariners tallied the opening six points of the quarter for their first lead since opening minutes of the contest, 49-46, with 8:19 to go.
• De Virgilio ended the run with a left-wing three and Shykim Gillion put the Seahawks back in front, 51-49, with a finish underneath as 7:36 remained.
• Following two lead changes, the Seahawks scored eight of the next 13 points, building their lead back to six, 61-55, at the 2:25 mark.
• Sanabria capped off the stretch with a split at the line, which gave her 1,000 career points at Keiser.
• Free throws dominated the closing minutes of the contest as Keiser came away with a 67-58 victory.
