The Seahawks were handed an 85-70 setback against Thomas University on Thursday evening in West Palm Beach. 

How it Happened

First Half
Keiser 44, Thomas 46
  • CoreVon Lott capped off a 10-2 start for the Seahawks with a mid-range jumper, forcing a Thomas timeout at the 17:48 mark.
  • Out of the stoppage, Thomas reeled off nine of the next 12 points to get within one, 12-11, with 15:36 showing on the clock.
  • Keiser answered right back with a 7-2 burst, building their lead to 19-13 with 14:09 to go in the opening half.
  • Thomas responded with nine consecutive points, claiming their first lead of the night, 22-19, with 12:09 to go in the first half.
  • The Night Hawks upped their lead to the largest of the half, 30-24, at the 7:43 mark.
  • However, five straight points by Antwan Claxton brought the score to within one with 5:39 left.
  • TU matched the run but back-to-back three-pointers by Marko Radulovic put the Seahawks back on top, 36-34, with 3:59 showing on the scoreboard.
  • The lead changed hands five time down the stretch with TU clinging to a 46-44 advantage at the intermission.

Second Half
Keiser 70, Thomas 85
  • Thomas opened the half by splitting at the line before Radulovic connected on a three-pointer and Quinton Glaspie laid it in for the final Keiser lead of the night, 49-47, with 17:56 to go.
  • The Night Hawks then used a huge 16-0 run to take a 63-49 advantage with 13:11 remaining in regulation.
  • TU stretched their lead to the largest of the game, 71-55, with 8:01 to go in the contest.
  • The Seahawks used a 13-4 run to get as close as eight, 75-68, at the 3:49 mark. John Mason started the spurt with seven consecutive points.
  • However, Thomas closed the game on a 10-2 run, handing the Seahawks an 85-70 home setback.

KU Highlights
  • 4: Four Seahawks finished with double-digit points, led by a team-best 19 points from Radulovic.
  • 6: Lott dished out a game-best six assists.
  • 7: Glaspie and Claxton each pulled down a game-best seven rebounds.
  • 11: The Seahawks connected on 11 three-pointers as Radulovic (5-5) and Claxton (4-4) were perfect.
  • 29: Keiser pulled down 29 rebounds while holding Thomas to 23.
