The Seahawks opened the new year with a 61-59 setback at home against Webber International on Saturday afternoon.
Keiser 18, Webber Int'l 13
	- After Webber opened the game with a bucket, an Emily Patton three-pointer and Antigonie Sanabria jumper gave Keiser their first lead, 5-2, with 7:10 remaining.
 
	- The Warriors knotted the game at five-apiece, but an 8-0 run put the Seahawks back on top, 13-5, with 4:03 left.  Angela Denis and Shykim Gillion had four points apiece during the spurt.
 
	- Webber got as close as three, 16-13, at the 1:38 mark but Denis converted on a layup with 16.5 seconds showing to lead 18-13 at the end of the quarter.
 
Keiser 36, Webber Int'l 26
	- Keiser opened the quarter with five consecutive points, upping their advantage to 23-13 with 8:53 to go.
 
	- The Seahawks claimed their largest lead of the half, 28-16, on a Chiara De Virgilio three-pointer with 5:20 remaining.
 
	- WIU answered with six unanswered points to get within six, 28-22, with 3:45 showing on the scoreboard.
 
	- Keiser closed the half on an 8-4 run to lead 36-26 at the intermission. Patton led the Seahawks with ten points.
 
Keiser 52, Webber Int'l 47
	- WIU tallied the first six points of the new half to trail 36-32 as Keiser took an early timeout with 8:32 remaining.
 
	- The Warriors continued their strong start, scoring the next four points, tying the game at 36-36 with 7:17 to go.
 
	- Keiser regrouped by notching the next six points, reclaiming a 42-36 advantage with 4:40 showing.
 
	- Following a Warrior layup, six consecutive KU points extended the margin back to double-digits, 48-38, with 3:04 left.
 
	- The Seahawks went on to lead 52-44 with one quarter left in regulation. Brianna Houston accounted for the four KU points.

	- The Warriors started the final period on a 14-2 run, taking their first lead since the opening minute of the contest, 61-54, with 5:05 left.
 
	- Keiser responded with five straight points to make it a one-possession game, 61-59, with 3:42 remaining.
 
	- Neither team scored again as the Seahawks fell in the conference game against Webber.
 
	- 2: Keiser had two players finish with double-digit points led by Patton with 16.
 
	- 12: Andressa Nascimento pulled down a game and season best 12 rebounds.
 
	- 18/13: The teams scored the same amount points in the first and second quarters (18 for KU and 13 for WIU).
 
	- 13: Keiser's defense had 13 steals with Patton having a team-best three.
