No. 5 Keiser men's lacrosse hosted No. 1 Reinhardt on Friday night, and despite an offensive surge from the Seahawks in the second half, the Eagles held on to prevail by an 11-8 margin.
No. 5 Keiser 0, No. 1 Reinhardt 2
	- Reinhardt netted two goals in the game's opening six minutes to grab the early advantage.
 
	- Both sides went scoreless in the final 9:23 of the opening quarter, as the Eagles were able to prevent Keiser from creating quality scoring chances near the cage.
 
No. 5 Keiser 2, No. 1 Reinhardt 4
	- Dylan Sharpe opened the scoring for Keiser to cut the Seahawks' deficit in half, finding the net unassisted at the 14:23 mark.
 
	- Reinhardt responded with back-to-back goals to widen the gap to 4-1.
 
	- Hunter East assisted to John Senior on Keiser's first man-up opportunity with 1:44 remaining in the half, and the 4-2 score would remain until the halftime whistle.
 
No. 5 Keiser 7, No. 1 Reinhardt 10
	- The scoring picked up drastically in the third quarter. Reinhardt built their largest lead of the game, 7-2, with three unanswered goals, with the final marker hitting the back of the net with 7:50 on the clock.
 
	-  Anthony Senior netted two straight unassisted goals to bring Keiser to within 7-4.
 
	- The two sides proceeded to go back-and-forth with two goals apiece. Both of the Seahawks' tallies came on man-up opportunities, and the Eagled led 8-6 with 3:53 left in the quarter.
 
	- Two consecutive goals from the Eagles put the visitors' lead back up to four, but once again, the Seahawks recorded the final goal in the period. Cole Stassi beat the defense with just 34 seconds left, and the teams prepared for the final 15 minutes of play.

	- The Seahawks brought the home crowd into an uproar with a transition score with 10:52 on the clock, as Landon Underwood's second goal of the game came off a pinpoint pass from Emmanuel Walker.
 
	- Despite Keiser's best efforts, however, the Reinhardt defense stayed firm and kept the Seahawks off the scoreboard for the remainder of the contest.  
 
	- The Eagles' offense eventually added an insurance goal in the final minute to account for the 11-8 result.
 
 
	- 2: Anthony Senior and Underwood led the way for Keiser with two goals apiece.
 
	- 3-3: Keiser took advantage of their man-up opportunities, converting on all three attempts.
 
	- 5: Five different Seahawks recorded two points in the contest.
 
	- 10: Provines finished with ten ground balls, a game-high. Anthony Bressi also made ten saves in net for the KU cause.
 
	- 18-23: Provines was excellent all night long with faceoffs, as he won 18-of-23.
 
	- 40-21: The ground ball category was firmly in favor of the Seahawks, 40-21 over the Eagles.
