The Seahawks battled until the end but came up just short on the road Thursday evening to Coastal Georgia, 71-68. Keiser's defense held the Mariners without a field goal during the final three minutes of the fourth quarter.
Keiser 15, CCG 16
- Coastal Georgia held an early 6-2 lead before the Seahawks caught fire from beyond the arc, connecting on three straight.
- Emily Patton hit back-to-back and Lindsey O'Sullivan capped a 9-0 run to give Keiser their first lead of the night, 11-6, with 5:02 to go.
- The Mariners answered right back with five straight points, tying the game at 11-11 with 3:24 remaining.
- Midori Long accounted for the games next four points, putting KU back on top, 15-11, with 2:16 showing.
- CCG ended the quarter on a 5-0 run to lead the Seahawks, 16-15.

- The Mariners held onto a one possession lead despite four ties until Antigonie Sanabria connected a jumper, giving the Seahawks a 25-23 advantage with 4:06 left in the period.
- Keiser remained on top until the 2:50 mark when the Mariners closed the half on a 7-2 spurt to lead 35-31 at the break. O'Sullivan led the way in the half with 13 points.

- Coastal Georgia opened the new half on a 6-2 spurt, stretching the margin to the largest of the game, 41-33, with 7:36 left.
- Over the next five minutes, the Seahawks outscored the Mariners, 13-6, to get within a point, 47-46, with 2:49 to go. During the stretch, Patton led the way with eight points.
- Keiser would head into the fourth quarter, trailing the Mariners, 51-48.

- With the Mariners leading by three, O'Sullivan canned a three-pointer, knotting the score at 55-55 with 6:45 showing.
- The game entered the final media timeout with CCG on top, 63-59, with 4:15 remaining.
- Back-to-back baskets by Sanabria and Keondra Smith tied the game at 63-63, forcing a Coastal Georgia timeout with 2:45 left.
- The Seahawks defense did not allow a field goal but couldn't keep the Mariners off the free throw line, trailing, 70-67 with 8.9 ticks remaining.
