No. 6 Keiser was able to erase a halftime deficit at Coastal Georgia, but in the end, the Mariners held off the Seahawks' comeback efforts to snap Keiser's five-game winning streak in Sun Conference play.

- The Keiser offense didn't light up the scoreboard until the 17:11 mark. When trailing 4-0, however, Mark Gordon sunk a three-pointer for KU that was the start of a 7-0 run, giving the Seahawks their first lead of the game.
- The Mariners responded with the game's next seven points to regain the lead, and eventually extended the run to 11-2 to seize a 15-9 advantage.
- Coastal Georgia still led, 19-14, as the clock went under ten minutes to play in the half. Keiser netted the next five points though to draw even at 19-19, capped off by a basket and the foul from Jimmy Sylvain with 9:25 on the clock.
- The Seahawks regained a lead, 23-21, after a bucket inside from Chance Anderson.
- The Mariners' response came by way of a 15-2 run, as the hosts went on to grab a 37-25 lead as the clock went under two minutes to play in the half.
- At the halftime whistle, Coastal Georgia's lead was at its largest of the half, 41-27, after the Mariners accounted for 20 of the final 24 points.

- The Seahawks were able to turn up the pressure to force four Coastal Georgia turnovers early in the second half, and KU went on a 9-3 run to trim the deficit to 44-36 after an Anderson conversion inside with 17:08 to play.
- The Keiser defensive efforts continued to pay dividends, and KU was able to draw to within a single point, 48-47, after a Mabry basket inside with 13:54 on the clock to conclude another big surge, 11-2.
- Although the Mariners halted that run with a three-pointer, the Seahawks kept on coming and eventually drew even at 53-53 with another basket from Mabry in the paint at the 12:07 mark, erasing the 14-point halftime deficit in under eight minutes of play.
- Coastal Georgia was able to keep KU from going ahead, however, proceeding to score six unanswered points to lead 59-53.
- After Gordon stopped the run with a turnaround jumper, the Mariners extended their run to 11-2, taking a 64-55 lead.
- After a three-pointer from Coastal Georgia, the Seahawks got back-to-back layups from Gordon and Jermar Perkins to draw to within five points, 67-62, with 5:51 on the clock.
- The Mariners were able to push their lead right back up to double-digits, however, 74-64, after their eighth long ball of the game with 4:50 remaining.
- Keiser quickly pulled to within seven points, but it would prove to be the closest that the Seahawks would come for the remainder of the contest.
- Coastal Georgia was able to match their largest lead of the game of 14 points, 81-67, with just 1:12 on the clock, and went on for the 83-74 result.
- 4-3: Despite the defeat, Keiser still holds a 4-3 lead in the all-time series with Coastal Georgia.
- 6: Keiser sank six three-pointers in the game, with Gordon and Mabry combining for three apiece.
