Dylan Sharpe scored five goals as No. 5Â Keiser picked up their second win over a Top-5 opponent this season, prevailing in overtime at No. 4 Cumberlands. This was the first overtime game in program history, and was won by
John Senior with 2:46 remaining in the first extra period.

- The Patriots opened the game's scoring when Thomas Fogarty found the back of the net at the  11:06 mark.
- The next three goals belonged to the Seahawks, as Sharpe, Hunter East, and Landon Underwood found the back of the net. The run's final tally from Underwood came off a pass from Cole Stassi with 5:57 on the clock. Â
- Cumberlands ran off the final two goals of the quarter to even the contest at three-apiece.

- The Patriots notched the go ahead goal at the 5:36 mark to lead 4-3.
- With 2:31 remaining and possession of the ball, the Seahawks called a timeout to try and find the equalizer.
- KU executed well out of the huddle as Sharpe scored his second goal of the game with 2:14 on the clock.
- The game would enter the halftime break tied at 4-4.

- Sharpe completed his hat-trick at the 13:36 mark as he split smoothly through the defense with a series of moves as Keiser led 5-4.
- The Patriots drew even with 6:43 remaining and jumped back ahead 6-5 with an unassisted goal with just 15 seconds left.

- Sharpe continued to have his way with the Cumberlands defense, scoring his fourth and fifth goals of the game to hand the Seahawks a 7-6 lead. His career-high fifth score came out of a timeout, as he ripped a shot from the right side past the keeper with 6:33 left to play.
- The Patriots tied the contest at 7-7 with just 4:23 remaining, setting up an exciting finish between these two ranked teams.
- Anthony Bressi made a clutch, diving save for the KU cause with 1:43 on the clock, as the game went into the golden goal overtime period.

- Although the Patriots won the faceoff, they would quickly turn it over. After Austin Fults picked up the loose ball, the Seahawks called a timeout with 3:36 remaining.
- Following a prolonged possession, East drove to the middle, turned and passed to the right side to Senior, who fired a rocket into the net for his first goal of the game, sending the Seahawks' bench onto the field in celebration. Â
- 1: Today was the first overtime game in program history.
- 2: Today was just the second meeting all-time between the two teams.Â
- 3: The win was KU's third of the season, and 2020 is now the third season overall that the program has started 3-0.Â
- 5: Sharpe's five goals set a new career-high for the senior.
- 8-7: The 8-7 result in favor of the Seahawks reversed the score between the two teams during the 2019 season.
- 10: Senior and Sharpe are now tied for the team lead with ten goals apiece through three games this season.Â
- 11-17: Cam Provines won 11-of-17 faceoffs for KU, and collected a team-high seven ground balls.
