No. 6 Keiser 42, No. 21 Southeastern 39
- Mark Gordon started out fast on the offensive end and netted seven of Keiser's opening ten points, as the Seahawks went in front 10-6 at the 16:19 mark.
- KU's lead was still four, 15-11, after Marko Orlic canned a triple, but Southeastern was able to tie the game at 15-15 shortly after the opening media timeout with 14:42 on the clock.
- Southeastern was unable to take their first lead of the game, however, and KU broke a 17-17 tie with Orlic's second trifecta and another bucket from Gordon to go in front 22-17.
- KU's lead was 25-19 when Orlic connected on two straight three-pointers, his third and fourth of the game, to give the Seahawks a 31-23 lead at the 10:23 mark. By this point, Keiser had hit 11 of their first 14 attempts from the floor and 7-of-9 from beyond the arc.
- The Fire went on an 8-0 run, however, to tie the game at 31-31. Chance Anderson's lay-in from the paint halted the momentum, and an acrobatic finish from Gordon amidst the Fire defenders brought the score to 35-31 with 4:54 remaining.
- Quickly after Southeastern had drawn to within two points, 35-33, Ryan Kroll sank the team's eighth three-pointer of the half to put Keiser in front 38-33.
- At the halftime whistle, Keiser held the 42-39 advantage. The game had been tied on five occasions, but the Seahawks never trailed after shooting 16-of-32 from the floor and 8-of-18 from three-point territory.

No. 6 Keiser 68, No. 21 Southeastern 69
- The offensive pace began to slow in the second half's opening minutes, and Southeastern opened the frame's scoring with a three-pointer to tie it at 42-42 with 17:15 on the clock.
- Keiser responded with four consecutive points, and after a Fire three-pointer, Orlic found a basket and Gordon hit a triple to give the Seahawks a 51-45 lead to conclude a 9-3 spurt for the hosts.
- The Fire were able to eventually cut their deficit all the way down to a single point, 53-52, but a Gordon steal and reverse dunk in transition followed by a Kroll floater made it 57-52 with 10:40 on the clock, as Keiser continued to keep Southeastern at bay.
- Southeastern scored the next four points to once again make it a one-point contest, 57-56, but Anderson's putback after an offensive rebound made it 59-56 as the clock approached six minutes to play.
- With just 4:28 remaining, the Fire finally broke through to claim their first lead of the game, 60-59, after a basket in the paint. It didn't last for long, however, as Anderson collected another offensive rebound and dunked it home with 3:40 on the clock to put KU back ahead, 61-60.
- The Fire's Riley Minx found his mark with a long ball that gave SEU a 63-61 lead with 2:48 remaining, but Gordon countered with two free-throws to tie it once again at the 2:02 mark.
- Minx continued to lead the SEU attack as he made his way to the charity stripe and sank both to put the Fire in front. Jermar Perkins formulated the Seahawks' response on the other end with a clutch three-pointer, his first of the game, and Keiser led 66-65 as the clock dwindled down to 1:26. Â
- Minx hit two more free-throws to give SEU the lead, KU proceeded to come up empty on the offensive end on the ensuing possession, then Minx was fouled and he hit two more from the line to hand the Fire a 69-66 lead with 22 seconds on the clock.
- Facing the late deficit, Perkins was able to find a lane to the basket with just nine seconds remaining to get his driving layup up off the glass before it was goaltended.
- With the Fire's lead at just one, 69-68, the Seahawks intentionally fouled with six seconds on the clock. Southeastern missed both free-throws and Keiser snagged the defensive rebound, going the length of the court in hopes of a game-winner.
- When Gordon had neared the three-point line he dished it off to Anderson, but his contested triple at the horn missed its mark, and it was No. 21 Southeastern that escaped with the 69-68 result to sweep the regular-season series.
- 8-12-5: Anderson contributed eight points, while also tying a team-high with 12 rebounds and setting a season-high with five blocks
