The Seahawks sailed past Columbia International, 89-55, on Tuesday evening for their third straight victory.

How it Happened

First Quarter
Keiser 20, Columbia Int'l 13
  • After Columbia International opened the contest with a three-pointer, the Seahawks scored the next 12 points to lead 12-3 at the first media timeout with 4:36 showing on the scoreboard.
  • During the run, Keiser connected on three from long range with Emily Patton accounting for two of those.
  • Antigonie Sanabria scored the next six points and Patton capped the 20-0 run with a fast break layup as the Seahawks led 20-3 with three minutes remaining in the quarter.
  • The Rams closed the period with ten consecutive points but trailed, 20-13.

Second Quarter
Keiser 49, Columbia Int'l 23
  • Keiser opened the quarter on a 12-3 run, bumping their advantage to 32-16, forcing a CIU timeout at the 6:39 mark.
  • Following a Columbia International runner in the paint, Keiser tallied ten consecutive points, bumping their advantage to 42-18 with 3:36 to go. Sanabria tallied seven of the points while Shykim Gillion had the other three.
  • The Seahawks went on to hold a 49-23 lead at the halftime break. Sanabria paced KU in the half with 19 points while Patton was close behind with 13.

Third Quarter
Keiser 75, Columbia Int'l 38
  • The Seahawks took their first 30-point lead of the contest, 55-25, with 8:45 left on an Andressa Nascimento layup.
  • Keiser turned on the intensity in the final minute, scoring the final eight points to lead 75-38. Sanabria sparked the run with back-to-back three-pointers.

Fourth Quarter
Keiser 89, Columbia Int'l 55
  • Gillion had the lone four points for the Seahawks as their lead swelled to 79-40 with 6:10 remaining at the final media timeout of the game.
  • Keiser took their largest of the game of 42 points, 84-42, with 4:27 to go on a Brianna Houston three-pointer.
  • The Seahawks went on to win their third straight contest by a final score of 89-55.

  • 2: Sanabria (29) and Patton (21) led the Seahawks in scoring on the evening, combining for nine three-pointers.
  • 8: Angela Denis pulled down a game-best eight rebounds with two on the offensive glass.
  • 12: The Seahawks hit 12 three-pointers on 23 attempts. Patton had five and Sanabria was four-for-four.
  • 19: Keiser had a season-best 19 steals with Chiara De Virgillio and Patton leading the way with four apiece.
