The Seahawks concluded the Battle at the Beach with an 85-75 setback against host, Faulkner University on Sunday evening.

Keiser went 1-2 during the tournament and will now turn their focus to Sun Conference play on Thursday.




Keiser 33, Faulkner 38

• Faulkner got off to a quick start with a 10-4 advantage, leading to an early Keiser timeout with 16:13 remaining in the first half.
• CoreVon Lott scored the next five points for the Seahawks as the deficit dwindled to three, 12-9, with 14:35 to go.
• Keiser turned to three-ball to take their first lead of the night as Lott hit a pair along with John Mason to lead 18-17 with 11:35 left.
• Following a Faulkner jumper in the paint, Ryan Kroll and Marko Radulovic converted on layups, upping the Seahawks advantage to 22-19, at the 10:10 mark.
• The Seahawks largest lead of the game was 28-23, before the Eagles went on an 11-3 run to jump back ahead, 34-31, with 3:05 showing on the scoreboard.
• The Eagles went into the intermission with a 38-33 advantage despite Lott leading all scorers with 15 points.

Keiser 75, Faulkner 85

• The Seahawks tallied six of the opening eight points with Quiton Glaspie chipping in four to get within a point, 40-39, with 17:45 to go.
• Faulkner answered right back with a 13-3 run, pushing their lead out to double digits for the first time on the night, 53-42, forcing KU to take a timeout with 14:31 left.
• Keiser regrouped out of the stoppage, using a 7-2 run to trail 55-49, with 12:40 left as the Eagles called a timeout of their own.
• Lott took over for KU, scoring their next 10 points to trail by just one, 60-59, with 9:12 remaining.
• However, the Eagles rattled off the next six points to increase the margin to 66-59 at the 7:34 mark.
• KU used a 10-5 spurt to make it a one-possession game, 71-69, with exactly four minutes left in regulation.
• After trading buckets, Faulkner converted on a layup and took a timeout with 3:03 to play, leading the Seahawks, 75-71.
• The Eagles took over from their with a 9-2 run, stretching their advantage to 84-73 with just 1:15 left.
• Keiser went onto drop their second game of the Battle of the Beach by a final score of 85-75.

• 3: Kroll dished out a game-best three assists.
• 10: Radulovic pulled down a team-best 10 rebounds, his third straight game leading the Seahawks.
• 12: Claxton and Kroll finished with 12 points apiece.
• 16: The Seahawks went 16-of-19 at the charity stripe.
• 33: Lott tied for a game-best 33 points with CJ Williamson of Faulkner. Lott went 12-of-21 from the field with five triples.
