Keiser University fell to the Lions of Florida Memorial in overtime on Saturday afternoon by the final score of 83-80.
Keiser 21, Florida Memorial 18
- Keiser jumped out to an early 10-2 advantage behind a pair of three-pointers from Emily Patton with 6:40 remaining in the quarter.
- Antigonie Sanabria also played a key part in the start with three assists to go along with a bucket in the paint.
- Florida Memorial clawed back into the game with a 7-2 spurt to trail 12-9 with 4:51 left.
- The Lions closed to within two on three occasions, until Chiara De Virgilio hit a three-pointer to lead 21-16 with 42 seconds to go.
- The Seahawks went on to lead the Lions at the end of the quarter, 21-18.
Keiser 39, Florida Memorial 32
- De Virgilio hit a pair from beyond the arc as the Seahawks lead moved to 27-23 with 8:15 showing on the scoreboard.
- Florida Memorial cut the gap to one, 29-28 at the 4:23 mark and took out a timeout.
- Out of the stoppage, Keiser went on an 8-0 run behind a pair of three-pointers from Stina Rehn-Andersson to lead, 37-28 with 2:48 to go.
- The Seahawks were on top of the Lions at the half, 39-32, led by 11 points from De Virgilio.

- The opening five minutes were sluggish for both teams as Keiser remained in front, 43-37.
- KU took their largest lead of the game, 49-40, on Patton's third triple of the game with 3:19 remaining.
- Six quick points by the visitors brought their deficit down to three with two minutes to go.
- However, Rehn-Andersson hit a clutch three-pointer, upping the margin to, 52-46 with 1:20 to go.
- FMU again got to within three but Patton hit a three-pointer to lead 56-50 with one quarter remaining.
Keiser 73, Florida Memorial 73
- The Lions made it a three point game with 6:20 showing when Patton canned her fifth three-pointer of the game, making it 61-55.
- Florida Memorial kept clawing their way back, knotting the game at 66-66 with 2:05 remaining in regulation.
- Following a pair of Patton free throws, Jamari Tillman hit a three-pointer, giving Florida Memorial their first lead of the game, 69-68, with 1:53 to go.
- The Seahawks trailed 71-70 when they took a timeout to advance the ball to the front court with 37.7 ticks.
- De Virgilio was fouled near the mid-court line, giving her two shots at the line. The junior made both, giving Keiser the 72-71 lead with 24 seconds to go.
- Keiser was called for a foul with 21 seconds remaining and the Lions made both free throws to reclaim a 73-72 lead.

- Sanabria scored the Seahawks first seven points to tie the game at 80-80 with 1:10 left in the first overtime period.
- The Lions went on top, 81-80, as Tate split a pair at the charity stripe with 17.7 seconds remaining.
- Keiser took a timeout to advance the ball but Patton was called for traveling with 11.7 ticks.
- Florida Memorial bumped the margin to 82-80 with 10.4 seconds after again splitting at the line.
