Keiser 7, Southeastern 26
- Southeastern scored the games opening 12 points, forcing Keiser to take a timeout with 5:35 remaining.
- Stina Rehn-Andersson hit a three-pointer for the Seahawks first points of the game at the 4:59 mark.
- The Fire went on to lead at the end of the quarter, 26-7.
Keiser 24, Southeastern 38
- Following an SEU bucket, Emily Patton tallied the next eight points of the game as KU got to within, 28-15 with 4:47 showing.
- The Seahawks got as close as 12, 36-24, on an Andressa Nascimento bucket in the paint with 1:45 to go in the half.
- Southeastern went into the halftime break with a 38-24 advantage despite Patton scoring a game-best 10 points.
Keiser 49, Southeastern 55
- Three different Seahawks connected from long range, trimming the deficit to 40-33 with 7:55 showing and leading to an early SEU timeout.
- After Southeastern split at the charity stripe, five quick KU points brought the home team to within a bucket, 41-38, with 6:40 left.
- The Fire answered with a three-pointer but a 6-2 run by the Seahawks got them to within two, 46-44, with 4:15 remaining.
- Keiser got to within two on one more occasion before trailing at the end of the quarter, 55-49.
Keiser 60, Southeastern 77
- Keiser scored five of the opening seven points to trail SEU by three, 57-54 at the 7:15 mark.
- However, SEU stormed ahead by connecting on three straight from beyond the arc, upping their advantage to 66-54 with 4:53 remaining in the contest.
- The Seahawks got as close as ten down the stretch but dropped their home and conference opener, 77-60.
- 2: Patton (22) and Rehn-Andersson (11) finished with double-digit points tonight.
- 4: Brianna Houston, Shykim Gillion, and Rehn-Andersson had four assists apiece.
- 8: Patton pulled down a game-best eight rebounds, all of which came on the defensive end.
- 9: The Seahawks outscored the Fire in the third quarter, 25-17.
- 10: Keiser connected from long range 10 times including a team-best three from Patton.
