The top-ranked Seahawks toppled the Warriors of Webber, 7-1, on Saturday afternoon in Sun Conference play.

How it Happened
  • Not even a minute-and-a-half into the contest, Emma Holmskov scored off a free kick from 30-yards out taken by Ronja Henriksson and chested down in front of the keeper by Alicia Drott.
  • Maja Lundman extended the advantage in the 37th minute with a one-touch volley off a corner kick from Drott.
  • Three minutes later, Maja Henriksson scored on a 30-yard free kick from the right side as the margin stood at 3-0.
  • M. Henriksson bagged her second goal of the contest in the 42nd minute off a great cross from Lina Voldby, giving KU a 4-0 advantage at the half.
  • The margin grew to 5-0 in the 51st minute as Lundman scored her second goal of the game off a through ball from Drott.
  • Lundman completed the hat-trick in the 68th minute with a header off a long diagonal ball from Drott.
  • Keiser's lead grew to seven goals in the 70th minute when Madeleine Berghult netted her first goal of the year off a pass from Thelma Bakke Lindblom. 
  • Webber ruined the shutout in the 85th minute with a goal off a long free kick but the Seahawks came out on top, 7-1.

Game Notes
  • Keiser is 20-2-0 all-time against the Warriors.
  • Drott assisted on all three goals scored by Lundman, finishing with four in the game.
  • KU used two different goalkeepers for the first time this season as Amanda Ewald played the opening 60 minutes before giving way to Denise Mendoza.
  • Neither keeper had to make a save on the afternoon as Keiser held a 32-3 shot advantage and 18-1 shots on goal edge.
  • Eight of the nine Keiser starters registered at least one shot with Lundman coming off the bench with a game-best six shots.
