Emily Patton, the Seahawks women's basketball team put a halt to their three game losing streak with a 59-47 win over the Warner Royals Saturday afternoon.
Keiser 16, Warner 13
- It was a slow start offensively for the Seahawks as they trailed Warner, 7-1 at the first media timeout with 5:35 remaining.
- Midori Long ignited the Keiser offense as she recorded the first basket of the game for the Seahawks with 4:57 remaining in the quarter to cut the Royals lead to 7-3.
- Keiser claimed their first lead of the contest with 1:06 remaining as a pair of Keondra Smith free throws made it 11-10.
- The Seahawks closed the quarter on a 15-6 run that began with Long's layup at the 4:57 mark to lead 16-13 after one.
Keiser 27, Warner 21
- Nikki Saunders scored the opening four points of the quarter for the Seahawks to extend their lead to 20-13 with 8:24 remaining.
- Warner answered with a 6-0 run to whittle the Seahawks lead down to one with 6:09 remaining in the half.
- A Lindsey O'Sullivan three pointer followed by a Patton jumper extended the Keiser lead back up to six, 25-19, with 2:54 to go in the quarter.
- The Seahawks headed into the halftime break with a 27-22 lead over the Royals behind eight points from Patton.

- Warner began the third quarter on a 10-4 run to take a 32-31 lead with 6:39 remaining. The lead marked the Royals first since the :51 second mark of the opening period.
- Patton responded for the Seahawks with an 8-0 run of her own giving Keiser back the lead, 39-32, with 4:28 remaining in the third.
- A layup by Antigonie Sanabria with 19 seconds remaining in the quarter capped off a 16-0 run by Keiser to give them a 47-32 lead heading into the fourth.
- The Seahawks' defense closed out the quarter strong as they held the Royals scoreless for the final 6:39 of the period.

- An Alasjia Dykes layup with 9:03 left in the contest gave Keiser their largest lead of the game, 49-32.
- The Royals responded with a 13-2 run to cut the Seahawks lead down to six, 51-45, with 4:41 to go.
- Long then took over the final few minutes of regulation as the senior scored eight straight points to extend the Keiser lead back to 14, 59-45.
- Warner netted two free throws with 15 seconds left to make the final score 59-47.
