No. 14 Keiser men's basketball pulled away from visiting Johnson & Wales down the stretch, sweeping the season series while extending their winning streak over the Wildcats to nine straight games.

No. 14 Keiser 38, Johnson & Wales 34
- Keiser held a 10-3 lead at the 15:32 mark, holding the Wildcats to just one made field goal over the course of the game's first four and a half minutes.
- Johnson & Wales was able to tie the contest at 12-12 as the offense pace began to quicken a bit. The Seahawks, however, netted the next seven points to go right back in front by seven, 19-12, with 12:21 on the clock after a Jermar Perkins's three-pointer.
- Perkins' three-pointer proved to be part of what grew to become a 13-4 KU run, as the hosts established a 25-16 advantage to force a Johnson & Wales timeout with 10:50 on the clock. Â
- The Wildcats drew to within four points, 27-23, as the Seahawks' offense dried up a bit and JWU strung together five unanswered points.
- The run was halted by a Chance Anderson basket and a Malcolm Mabry lay-in, as KU went ahead 31-23 as the clock approached five minutes remaining in the half.
- An 8-2 run from the guests, capped off by their sixth made three-pointer of the half, brought JWU to within just two points, 33-31.
- The Seahawks were able to produce five of the half's final seven points, and went into the locker room holding the 38-34 edge.
- Keiser's most noticeable advantages after the first 20 minutes of play were in the rebounding category (25-17) and points in the paint (22-10), as the Wildcats' offense relied on perimeter shooting.

No. 14 Keiser 87, Johnson & Wales 74
- The second half's early moments were firmly in favor of Johnson & Wales. The Wildcats staked claim to their first lead of the game amidst a 10-0 run, and led 46-42 at a media timeout with 14:15 remaining.
- After two free-throws from Mark Gordon, the Wildcats lead proceeded to swell to as large as seven points, 51-44, after the team's eighth conversion from beyond the arc.
- The JWU lead was six, 52-46, when the Seahawks started a run of their own, however, netting the next six points to make it all square at 52-52 with 11:31 on the clock. The last four points during that stretch came from Charles Chung, who canned a three-pointer and hit one of two during a trip to the free-throw line.
- Keiser was unable to regain the lead, and Johnson & Wales accounted for the next seven points to lead 59-52.
- The Wildcats' advantage remained at seven points, 61-54, until Keiser got things going offensively. Seemingly in the blink of an eye, the Seahawks took back the lead, 64-63, with a 10-2 run culminating in an Anderson dunk off the bounce pass from Perkins.at the 6:59 mark.
- The lead changed hands twice and there were two ties over the course of the ensuing possessions, but Keiser still clung to a one point lead, 68-67, after Anderson converted on an old-fashioned three-point play with 5:04 remaining.
- Anderson's three-point play proved to be the beginning of an 8-0 KU run, with the last five coming from Gordon as he began to enforce his will to help the Seahawks go in front 73-67.
- The Wildcats proceeded to draw to within four points, 73-69, but it would be the closest that the visitors would get to KU down the stretch.
- Keiser scored the next four points, highlighted by an emphatic one-handed slam from Gordon in transition, and the knockout punch had been delivered.
- As the clock continued to dwindle down, the KU lead reached as large as 16 points, 87-71, and the Seahawks went on to claim their third consecutive victory while sweeping the season series with the Wildcats in the 87-74 result.
- 9: The Seahawks have now won the last nine matchups with JWU.
- 14: Perkins (8) and Chung (6) combined for 14 points off the Keiser bench
- 18-4: The vast majority of fast break points went to KU, 18-4.

- 29-9-7: Gordon paced KU in points (29), rebounds (9), and assists (7). The game-high 29 points came on 11-of-20 shooting from the floor, and 22 points came in the second half. His seven assists were also a game-high total and new season-high.
- 47-32: Keiser dominated the Wildcats on the glass, 47-32.
- 52-22: Keiser produced 52 points from inside the paint, while holding a perimeter-oriented Johnson & Wales team to just 22 points from in close.
